Online Escape Room For Kids

Puzzles, codes and hidden keys that children can solve themselves, in the browser, with nothing to download and nothing scary for the youngest ones.

Ages 6 And Up: The December Dilemma

A Christmas escape room in twenty five parts, one a day through December. Made for children, with nothing scary in it.

Grumble the elf has locked Santa’s workshop and hidden the key. Every door of the advent calendar is a short puzzle: picture codes, padlocks, light patterns and things to find in the picture. Each one takes five to ten minutes, so it fits after school or before bed, and younger children can play it with a grown up helping. Solve every door and you save Christmas.

Ages 12 And Up: The Skeleton’s Curse

A free ten minute escape room in a candle lit crypt. Creepy, not frightening.

Older children love the race against the clock. Light a lantern, find what is written on the walls, throw a rock through a mirror and get out before the candle burns down. It is free, needs no account and is a good test of whether they are ready for something bigger.

For Parents

The things we would want to know too.

No Chat, No Strangers

There is no chat and no way for players to contact each other. Children only ever play with the people in the room with them.

No Adverts

Nothing pops up and nothing tries to sell them anything in the middle of a game.

Nothing To Download

It runs in the web browser on a phone, tablet or computer you already have.

You Stay In Charge

Premium games are bought once by a grown up. There are no extra purchases inside the games.

Good For Their Brains

Codes, patterns, logic and reading for clues, all wrapped up in a story they want to finish.

Play Together

The best way to play is side by side, with a grown up helping when they get stuck. The hint button never gives the whole answer away.

Parent Questions

What parents ask before their children play.

A puzzle game in a picture you can explore. Children look around, find things, crack codes and open locks to get to the end of the story, all in a web browser.

The December Dilemma is made for ages 6 and up. The Skeleton’s Curse suits 12 and up. Silent Night is a horror game for 15 and over and is not for children.

Older children can. Younger ones enjoy it most with a grown up next to them, especially for the reading.

There is no chat, no adverts and nothing to download. Accounts are only needed for premium games, and a grown up makes them.

Each December door takes five to ten minutes. The Skeleton’s Curse takes about ten minutes.
