Know Your Screen
This is Silent Night, but every room works the same way. Tap part of the picture, or step through it.
Tap anything that catches your eye. Most things have something to say, and some want something from you.
These take you through the house. If a door will not open yet, come back later.
What you pick up lands here. Tap it to look closer, or drag it onto something to use it.
The light bulb gives a nudge for exactly where you are up to. A nudge, not the answer.
Free rooms count down from ten minutes. Premium rooms count up and save as you go, so take your time.

Three numbers, three steps. Turn the dial to each one.
Pick A Room
Start with a free room to get your eye in. When you’re ready, the premium escapes are longer, harder and a lot less forgiving.
Use Your Hands
Light lanterns, smash glass, spin locks, read what’s scratched into the walls. If it looks like it moves, it probably does.
Beat The Clock
Every room runs on its own timer. Hints are there when you’re stuck, but each one costs you 30 seconds.
You’re In
That’s the idea. Every room has something like this, only darker and with a clock running.

On A Phone?
Every room works on a phone. Turn it sideways and the whole room fits on your screen.
Hold it upright and the room gets taller instead, and you swipe left and right to look around. The arrows at the sides do the same. Drag something from your bag and the room scrolls along with you.
The Basics
Everything else you need to know, which is not much.
Play Anywhere
Laptop, desktop, tablet or phone, in any up to date browser. There is nothing to download, and the free rooms do not even need an account.
Tap And Drag
Tap anything to look at it. Pick things up, then drag them from your bag onto whatever they belong to.
Bring A Light
Some rooms are pitch black. Find something to see by, then move it around with your mouse or finger to find what is hiding in the dark.
Ask For A Hint
Hints know exactly where you are up to. In the free rooms each one costs 30 seconds. In the premium rooms they are free.
Stop And Come Back
Free rooms are played in one go. Premium rooms save to your free account as you play, so you can stop and carry on later on any device.

Crowd round one screen, or share your screen on a video call and let one person drive while everyone else shouts.
