No tracking, no advertising, no analytics. Here is the short list of things we do save, and why.
Escape Verse does not use cookies to track you. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels. That is why you have not seen a cookie banner.
To make the games work, we save a few small things in your browser’s local storage. It works a bit like a cookie, but it stays on your device and is never sent to us.

If you just play the free rooms, you get no cookies from us at all.
If you log in to your Escape Verse account, WordPress, which runs this site, sets a few cookies whose names start with wordpress_logged_in, wordpress_sec and wordpress_test_cookie. They keep you logged in, for up to two weeks, and they are needed for your account to work. Logging out removes them.
The lettering on this site comes from Google Fonts. Your browser downloads it from Google, which means Google can see your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.
You can clear everything we save at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this website. If you are not logged in, that also wipes your saved games and best times, and we cannot get them back. If you are, your account still has them.
